Live-Massage Window Display Shut Down By NYPD

A website that provides erotic massage listings called manworks.com pulled a publicity stunt that's actually turned into a much huger publicity stunt than they could have imagined. The gay blogosophere is abuzz over the NYPD's decision to shut down the display, which seems like it was neither lewd nor objectionable, after only an hour. This all took place in Chelsea, in the front window of the Blue Store on 8th Avenue. The reason can only the the ongoing War on Fun that plaguing our two favorite cities, San Francisco and New York, and which also took the life of SF drag party Charlie Horse due to noise complaints. Fuck the straights! Fuck the po-lice!
