Tales of a Drag Queen Wrangler

It's always educational -- and only sometimes horrifying -- to see glimpses of the drag scene in a second- or third-tier city. Vancouver, B.C., while lovely we hear, is not known for its for tranny realness (or creativity, or whathaveyou), but this documentary short at least allows us a window on Vancouver's drag queens via a self-proclaimed wrangler and make-up artist known as Neale von Thurstonberg. We especially enjoy the little story about the queen who's become a little too fond of water sports, particularly during street festivals.
