Since the straight press is now reporting on it, we might as well note it for the record that NY party promoter and impresario of this summer's "Home for Wayward Boys" in Cherry Grove on Fire Island, Daniel Nardicio, is the brains behind this whole Levi Johnston shoot as a means toward getting Playgirl off life support. The mag's publishers are still thinking that a hipper gay mind could breathe new life into the dying brand and they're banking on this Johnston spread to allow them to go back into print on a bimonthly basis. This is, of course, silly, because especially where porn is concerned, print is WAY dead. Who needs an old sticky magazine lying around when a whole world of cocks and balls are right at your fingertips on the interwebs, live and in motion, often for free? But sure, we all want to see Levi's junk, and this one last publicity coup will at least remind gay readers that Playgirl exists, and we're happy for Daniel now that Dlist has been sold and he still has this cushy corporate gig. He's reportedly been scouting hockey rinks and locker rooms for the shoot, which is awesomely appropriate -- and he promises to post photos on his Facebook of the mayhem as he picks up Levi from the airport TOMORROW.
