Straight Man Reveals Enduring Love for Stephen Sondheim
November 6, 2010 at 1:01 PM
In an article in the NYT this week, writer Joe Nocera reveals that Stephen Sondheim music has always made him cry, and that he first fell in love with the composer and lyricist after his daughter dragged him to a high school production of Sweeney Todd. The piece is a further ode to Sondheim a week after his new volume of lyrics (which also functions as a sort of memoir) called Finishing the Hat was released.
Showmos should also feel free to dork out on this slideshow-slash-interactive timeline of Sondheim's entire career.
