Porn Stars at Home: Le Fag Talks to Scott Tanner About Crash Dieting and Making Dresses for Dogs

Le Fag: Do you have a Valentine this year? Has he met your mother?
Scott Tanner: Of course I do!! Paul Wagner. And no, he hasn't met my mother.

I know you were shooting a scene and on some kind of crazy diet before the holidays -- how did all that work out?
It went well! So hard to behave around the holidays!! The scene was on Dec. 23rd with Derrek Diamond....so when it was over that evening I went crazy... all the way through New Year's and onto my birthday, Jan 21st. Now I am on a nutritional plan that is even more strict. I have another scene in March and April and then a bunch of photoshoots in NYC... so I wanna look my best. It's ridiculous what we do to ourselves... but it is what it is. I'm a crash dieter, I know!

How fat do you plan to get now? Are we talking bear porn?
I was getting close... maybe otter porn, but I'm back on the straight and narrow now.

Tell me about your dogs -- I know one just came back to you after a long trip away.
Yes... that's Maddox. He is a 2-year-old Dachshund Terrier mix who I rescued on Lincoln Road in Miami, when he was just a few weeks old. Last year I had to send him to NYC to stay with my friend, because I had to move and couldnt find a place that would allow me have dogs. He just came back, after almost 8 months....it's great!! Then there is Chloe... she is a King Charles Spaniel mix. Mixed with what? We have no idea. She was on a 24-hour list to be euthanized when we rescued her.

Did you always knit little outfits for them?
LMAO!! Oh shit... Paul is gonna be so pissed about this, but he created that. He is in love with Chloe, she is his little girl... and he found a youtube clip of some guys knitting a dress for his dog, so... as a challenge to himself, he decided to see if he could accomplish something like that... and he did. He knitted her a red and white christmas dress. It was stressful at times. There were many fittings and i wasnt sure he was gonna pull it off in time for the holiday, which is probably why he was so driven to finish it... to prove me wrong. He hates when I tell people that he knitted it... cuz he thinks that a big muscular guy like himself, knitting a tiny baby doll dress for a dog, somehow emasculates him, LOL... I can't imagine why. Then I went out and bought a knitted scarf for Maddox... it was much easier.

What's your weeknight routine these days? -- gym, cooking, tv shows you like?
My weeknight routine basically consists of leaving work and heading to the gym, then home to walk the dogs, eat dinner, and then we catch up on our DVR. Paul likes anything that has to do with Sci Fi, Food Network, japanimation. I hate sci-fi and japanimation... but love the Food Network and news stations (which he hates), so our common ground lies in the Food Network... which is what's usually on. Friday night is date night though, so we normally go to dinner or to a show or movie.

Do you have a new favorite cookbook?
I have a few cookbooks in my collection, but i honestly dont use them very often. I LOVE books, but when it comes to recipes, I tend to just google a few different variations of something and then add my own elements and make them my own. I love anything that Ina Garten does though....ANYTHING!

Are there any celebrities you follow, gossip-wise? Why do you like them?
Not really. i follow politics and the news more than i do celebrity gossip. I mean, I DVR The View every day and watch it when I get home... mostly because i enjoy the "hot topics" segments. I love watching those "ladies" bicker over issues... I can't stand Elizabeth Hasselbeck. i miss when Rosie was on!!

What's the greatest compliment anyone could give you?
That I am not what they expected... and that I am more than just a guy who has sex on camera.

What's the worst thing anyone ever said about you, on the internet or otherwise?
I dont know... or I dont remember, so it must not have been that hurtful. I don't read comments and reviews and all the blogs constantly, unless a friend tells me to check something specific out. I get upset that a lot of these other models read all that stuff and let it get to them. I decide how I feel, I decide whether I'm happy or angry or sad... NOBODY else gets to determine that for me. Especially not by saying a hateful or inappropriate comment on a blog. If I don't see that or don't realize it exist.....then it doesn't. Some people find that hard to understand...but it's actually very simple.
