Australian Tranny Refuses to Be Called 'He' or 'She'

Ok ok, please don't send us letters. Norrie, who an Australian newspaper recently profiled, is intersexed, not a tranny. But Norrie was a tranny, at least, for a little while. Born a man, Norrie then underwent a sex change, lived as a woman for a bit, but then stopped taking hormones and now prefers the pronoun 'zie' over he or she. Zie says that zier sex simply isn't relevant to zier identity right now, and zie went and got a certificate to prove it. It reads, "sex not specified." Unfortunately, the newspaper profile is headlined "Sexless in the City," which we think is just tacky. Anyway, in her photo, Norrie's house looks like it might smell a little, but still, we think zie's awesome. You go girl, er, we mean. Yeah. [via WOW]
