Archie Comics Get Square-Jawed Gay Character

Introduced to the world of Archie, Veronica, et al will be a new gay character this fall named Kevin Keller. Blond, blue-eyed, square-jawed Kevin will first be featured in an issue of Veronica (she has her own comic book now), with the headline "Meet the hot new guy!" Kevin will prove his butchness by trouncing Jughead in a burger eating contest, and then he will promptly let Veronica down by trying to bed Archie instead (the second part we made up).

We're not sure what the point of this is unless Kevin is there to teach everyone some useful lessons about not bogarting the drugs, and ultimately, when one should go to rehab. [Comics Alliance via Queer Sighted]
