Ardent fans of Tab, the blog This Is Fag City went on a hunt in Manhattan recently to find the all but extinct stuff. But in celebrating this wonder-diet drink that epitomizes days lounging by the pool in Bel Air in the early eighties, zonked out on Ativan, they call our attention to the decidedly upscale marketing of the beverage in TV spots. Oh, how we love vintage commercials like this. And speaking of Galliano, check out the Christian Dior label-name-drop in the first one. Early cross-promotion deal?

TaB is not extinct! Your ability to find it easily depends on what area of the country you're in, but I can say here in Portland, OR you can find TaB in nearly every grocery store - and I drink it daily!
