Barbra Is Definitely Doing Gypsy

There was apparently some wrangling happening with writer Arthur Laurents over whether he was going to let Barbra Streisand do a new movie adaptation of Gypsy and star as Mama Rose. But now Arthur is dead, R.I.P., and Musto says he spoke to someone close to the deal who said it is back on, and Arthur signed off before he croaked. So Barbra, congrats. All of your elder gay fans, we're sure, are atwitter with the news.
