Marc Jacobs went all 80s and took inspiration from Duckie in Pretty in Pink. Band of Outsiders went nautical. Rag & Bone went with English military and Civil War-like jackets. Robert Geller dressed up hipster fashion with bright cobalt blues and flower-like bow ties.  All in all, menswear's come a long way since the days of oatmeal-colored Armani suits and plain Calvin Klein ensembles. The runway shows may not be as glamorous as the ladies' end of things, but the clothes are reflecting a younger generation's fashion hyper-consciousness, with the boys wanting to look for something new and different each season just as much as the girls.

San Francisco drag queen DJ Juanita MORE! received a number of loving tributes from her fans for her birthday a couple weeks back. "Bitches in the Sky," A New Cyber Soap from Linda Simpson

Drag legend and writer Linda Simpson (whose zine My Comrade has long been one of our faves) has a new online photo novella series called "Bitches in the Sky" starring Ladyfag and Sylvia London as parodies of high powered Manhattan business women.  In Linda's own words, "Bitches" was "inspired by south-of-the-border photo novella magazines, [and it] follows New York's recession-proof elite as they ruthlessly pursue power, fame and erotic thrills in a world of zillion-dollar penthouses and 50th-floor boardrooms." We think it looks effing hilarious and new episodes are released every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (subscribe here). Happy Anniversary to Slava and Brian

Art fag powercouple Slava Mogutin and Brian Kenny are still in love and together five years later, and we hate them. JK! (sort of!) We hope they've got another five years in them, if only because we enjoy the pictures. "When You're Low": A Song About Getting High

Ever wonder what happens to musical theater fags when they move to L.A.? They end up smoking/eating a lot of pot and making YouTube videos featuring big production numbers about smoking/eating pot.  This video, from the web series "The Battery's Down," is the latest in a long string of songs and dances about a young actor's fantastical struggles to make it big in New York, and, inevitably, L.A.  We love the way gay Laurel Canyon/Silver Lake environs and extras featured in the video, coupled with the whole Black Eyed Peas aesthetic. Also, this makes us want to get a pot club card just so we can see one of these vending machines...
